Second French vineyard, the vineyard of the Rhone Valley extends on both banks of the river. This region has also seen the birth of some of the most prestigious appellations in the world. The complexity of its soils and its climatic vagaries give the wines of this territory distinctive characteristics, which you will find in the TERRA 6840 wines.

Between the Rhône and wine it is an old love story, which has its roots in High Antiquity. This is a fascinating and limitless story, perfectly reflecting the atypical character of our wines. Passionate about this region and its vines, Olivier Vetsch founded the Civil Society for Agricultural Exploitation "Les Esprits Sains" in 2008. This family estate, located in the south of the Rhône Valley, in the Gard, in Saint-Alexandre, is today maintained and developed in collaboration with his son Martin Vetsch.

Since its acquisition, considerable work has been carried out to bring it to a higher quality standard. Thus, we are constantly protecting and improving this value that we wanted so much to bring to it: prioritizing quality over quantity.

Each year, our vines give birth to approximately:

5,000 bottles of TERRA Esprit Blanc.

15,000 bottles of TERRA Esprit Rouge and Millésime.

Our Red Wines are aged 70% in oak barrels (Cuvée Esprit), and 30% in traditional refrigerated vats (Cuvée Millésime). Our White Wines are entirely aged in oak barrels for at least 11 months.

The Esprit bottle design was born out of a collaboration with artist Ara Starck. These bottles are produced in limited edition.. 

Our work has been rewarded several times, particularly during competitions organized in the Rhône Valley. We are very proud of these various medals testifying to the quality of our wines.
