TERRA White Spirit:
Our white wines are made from a blend of several grape varieties:
Viognier , Clairette and Roussanne . Established on sandy loam hillsides, our vines are partly trained in order to obtain better maturity, and expressly moderate yields. Also, cold skin maceration makes it possible to obtain a more aromatic white wine with more roundness in the mouth.
TERRA Esprit Rouge and Vintage:
Our red wines are made from a blend of three grape varieties:Grenache (65%), Syrah (30%) and Cinsault (5%). Arranged in small terraces surrounded by scrubland, our vines are particularly fond of long sunny summers, necessary for great maturity.
Here too, expressly moderate yields allow each grape variety to express itself fully. During winemaking, long maceration is preferred:the complex aromas and concentrated polyphenols are extracted, then covered with elegant tannins.
Our vintage wine is aged, each grape variety separately, for at least 24 months in stainless steel vats. As for our Esprit cuvée, each grape variety is also aged separately in oak barrels, and depending on the vintage, from 18 to 60 months, thus providing this very particular deep color.
